Chapter 2 Each

After the rain, the sky is clear, and the clouds are burning slowly.

"Tomorrow is a good day." Mrs. Cheng looked outside and said.

Even before dinner is served, the busy day is over and it is the most leisurely and contented time.

"Mother, mother."

Cheng Liu Niang's voice came from outside.

Mrs. Cheng put her hand on her forehead. Children are debts that will never be shaken off in this life.

"Aunt, aunt." Cheng Qiniang's voice also sounded from behind.

The two women took off their wooden clogs and knelt in front of them, one on the left and the other on the right surrounding Mrs. Cheng.

"Hey, hey." Mrs. Cheng responded with a smile, looking at her two beautiful daughters.

"Auntie." Cheng Siniang and Cheng Wuniang quietly took off their shoes and came up, knelt down and saluted.

"Okay, okay, are you sisters hungry?" Mrs. Cheng asked with a smile.

"Mom, don't be in a hurry to eat," Cheng Liu Niang said.

"Auntie, auntie, we are going to have a chrysanthemum party." Cheng Qiniang rushed to shout.

Being overtaken by Cheng Qiniang, Cheng Liuniang glared at her.

"Stop talking, you can't explain clearly, just sit aside." She said, taking her mother's arm, "Mom, we are going to hold a chrysanthemum party, and invite Madam Dong and others to come to the house to play and compete in painting and flower arrangements."

"There is also fishing, fishing, Auntie, I like fishing, I want to play fishing." Cheng Qiniang continued.

"Okay, Qiniang will definitely get the first place in fishing." Mrs. Cheng smiled and reached out to touch Qiniang's shoulder.

"Don't fish." Cheng Liuniang disagreed, "Our lotus pond is small, but if we want to fish, there are many better ones than ours, so we won't be laughed at by them."

Cheng Qiniang was late in enlightenment and was practicing calligraphy. She was still not proficient in calligraphy, painting and flower art. If Chrysanthemum could only focus on painting and flower arrangement, then she would have no chance to get ahead, and she would be very unhappy.

When Mrs. Cheng refused to comply, the quiet room was filled with the noise of women. Mrs. Cheng felt that her ears were ringing. She hurriedly found a lady in charge and asked her to take care of the daughters' plans, and she was finally coaxed away.

Noises came from the house on the other side from time to time, but it was much better than in front of me. The sisters were noisy and sometimes laughed happily, and the atmosphere was joyful and lively.

This is what we call home, it’s a happy place.

Mrs. Cheng breathed out a sigh of relief.

You really should have listened to your mother-in-law. That fool should have been sent directly to the Taoist temple from the beginning, so that he would cause such annoying troubles for nothing.

Speaking of the annoying incident, Mrs. Cheng frowned again.

I've been fussing over the dowry for several days, but I still can't explain it. The Zhou family originally gave in, but the second room jumped out. This didn't work, that didn't work, and they divided it up again. The Zhou family simply moved into the shop, which was terrible.

A good business suddenly dropped.

Mrs. Cheng unconsciously exerted force on her hand and almost broke a round fan.

"Here comes someone." She became angrier as she thought about it and shouted.

The maid came in from outside.

"Next month, except for the old lady's place, the portions in the kitchen will be reduced by half." Mrs. Cheng said.

The servant girl grinned, but did not dare to say anything more, so she agreed to go down.

"Half, just half." Mrs. Cheng Er sneered when she heard the news, "It's better than that. They eat meat and we can't even drink soup."

"Yes, the eldest lady actually agreed to give all the farms to the Zhou family. She didn't even think about it. The harvests from those farms are quite a lot." The maid beside her said in a low voice.

"Of course she doesn't want to. She has held those two shops for a long time. She is very familiar with both the people and the money. If she gives up that one, she will be cutting out her flesh. There are many farms that can't buy them if they are rich." Cheng Er

The lady sneered and said, "A shop is divided into two. Even if I rob it, I can't compare with her people. It doesn't mean there is nothing. It's better to just ask for the farm."

"Yes, yes, ma'am." The servant girl smiled quickly and leaned over to whisper, "My family is good at farming. We can't do business, so farming is no problem."

Mrs. Cheng Er hummed.

The maid served even more diligently.

"Madam, I won't care about that. My husband went to see it a few days ago, and the good land was all in vain..." she said, "I have kept it secret from us for so many years, and I don't even think about what good things I can get. What is that fool doing?"

He is our second wife, does she still want to keep it for the rest of her life?"

"At least give some dowry to her daughters." Mrs. Cheng Er snorted, and she was angry again thinking about this. "I have to get it this time no matter what. Isn't she the only one who has daughters?"

"That's right, that fool thinks they are biological sisters to our Seventh Mother, and they are just cousins," the servant woman said.

Compared with the undercurrent at home, Xuanmiao Mountain outside the city is quiet and comfortable.

It had rained yesterday and the ground was wet. The girl broke off a branch, skimmed off the leaves, and carefully rubbed it twice with her hand to make sure it would not prick her hand before handing it to Cheng Jiaoniang.

Although Cheng Jiaoniang was still wearing her clothes, she was able to lift the soap yarn and feel the gentle autumn breeze.

She stretched out her hand, took the branch, and sat down on the rocks nearby.

The girl looked a little nervously.

Cheng Jiaoniang fluttered her sleeves with one hand and held a branch with the other, slowly paddling on the ground. But unfortunately, her hands seemed weak, the branches trembled, and there were crooked marks on the moist ground, with no words at all.

Still not working, my fingers seem to be able to write freely, but if I hold a pen, I still can't master it.

Cheng Jiaoniang put down the branch and sat upright.

"Madam, learning calligraphy can't be done in a day or two." The girl comforted, "I'll buy paper and pen for Madam, and we can practice slowly."

Paper and pen were useless to her at this time.

"No need." Cheng Jiaoniang said and stood up.

The scenery of Xuanmiao Mountain is very good. The Taoist temple is built according to the mountain. There is a mountain road that goes out from the door and goes around the Taoist temple. The distance is not far, but it is slightly steep. It is more strenuous to walk down it than at Chengjia.

This was exactly what Cheng Jiaoniang wanted. After trying it out for the first time, it became something she must do every day.

She raised her feet and took a step forward, and the girl hurriedly followed behind.

Although her hands and mouth are still unable to move as she pleases, she can at least walk without support. Although it seems a bit slow, the recovery speed in more than half a year is not too slow. I believe that by the Chinese New Year, she should be able to walk as fast as flying.

Already.

After walking around, Cheng Jiaoniang and the girl walked into the gate. In the courtyard, the master of the temple was talking to a person. There were two baskets on the ground, one was empty, and the other was half empty.

"The lady is back," the viewer said hurriedly, pointing to the basket containing the things. "The rice and vegetables from home have been delivered. Let him carry them with you."

Cheng Jiaoniang passed by on her own, and the viewer ignored her, just watching the girl talk.

The girl responded and walked over to take a look. She could not help but frown when she saw that there was only a bag of rice and a few handfuls of vegetables.

"This number is wrong," she said. "Why is it so small? And there are no dried fish and fruits?"

The patron smiled and said nothing, while the male servant curled his lips.

"How do I know? This is what my family gives me." He said.

"My wife's rules are not like this," the girl said.

"Then you go and talk at home." The manservant said unceremoniously. He grabbed the basket and dumped the contents on the ground. He hung two empty frames on the pole and walked away.

The girl was so angry that she was trembling all over. She pointed at the manservant who was walking away and was speechless.

"Oh, this is so good." The viewer sighed and said.

The girl gritted her teeth for a moment and lowered herself to pick it up.

"Don't pick it up." Cheng Jiaoniang, who didn't know when she stopped to watch this scene, said, then turned around and walked away.

The short girl was stunned for a moment, glanced at the rice and vegetables scattered on the ground, turned around and followed.

This fool can actually talk and lose his temper.

But I didn’t know when I lost my temper, and the viewer curled his lips, no wonder he was a fool. (To be continued)
