Chapter nine hundred and ninety-six wait for the rabbit

In Yindu, Zhuang Zhou breathed out, and Ksitigarbha, dressed in black monk robes, appeared in front of Zhuang Zhou in Linze, clasped his hands and said: "The poor monk has seen Zhuang Sheng and the King of Qin. I wonder what your business is here?"

Lin Ze glanced at Zhuang Zhou and saw that he had no idea, so he could only say: "Not long ago, I received a secret letter from Maitreya. The letter said that Guanyin disappeared, and it was suspected to be related to the Buddha."

"It concerns the safety of the Buddha and the two of them. I specially invited my senior brother to come with me to find the two of them. I just came from Qiulong Mountain where Maitreya is located, and Maitreya has not been poisoned."

"I will be relieved when I come to Yindu and see that Ksitigarbha is fine."

After Lin Ze finished speaking, he handed over the secret letter written by Maitreya.

While reading the secret letter, Ksitigarbha chewed Lin Ze's words carefully.

After a while, Ksitigarbha's face suddenly changed, cold sweat broke out on his back, and he bowed deeply and said, "Thank you King Qin and Zhuang Sheng for your concern."

Although Lin Ze said it in an understatement, Ksitigarbha thought about it carefully and realized that he had inadvertently avoided a catastrophe.

If it was true that the Buddha was secretly retaliating, the chances of him surviving being targeted were slim to none.

Thinking of this, Ksitigarbha looked at Lin Ze and Zhuang Zhou with burning eyes. Daogong and Daogong would undoubtedly be his life-saving straw.

As for whether Lin Ze was deceiving him or not, Ksitigarbha had the slightest idea and gave it up.

With the current power of Dao Palace, it is easy to suppress him, so why use conspiracy and deception?

If it was to deal with Buddha, and now he has betrayed Buddhism, is there any way to turn back?

Ksitigarbha thought a lot, his thoughts gradually became firmer, and he asked: "I wonder if you two have discovered anything?"

Lin Ze shook his head and said: "I didn't find anything unusual along the way, but Maitreya's attitude is a bit strange. It doesn't look like he is afraid of Buddha's revenge."

Ksitigarbha was stunned for a moment, and couldn't help but look puzzled: "Why did King Qin say this?"

Lin Ze said nonchalantly: "He was the one who suspected that Buddha secretly harmed Guanyin, but I just sincerely asked him to take refuge in Chang'an, but he was evasive and failed to agree directly. Isn't this an abnormal behavior?"

"I even have some suspicion that the person who harmed Avalokitesvara was not Buddha but him. The reason why he sent the secret message was just to disrupt the public hearing by calling for the thief to be caught."

Ksitigarbha denied it decisively: "It can't be Maitreya. He doesn't have the ability to quietly harm Guanyin. After all, Guanyin is also a strong person in the third realm of heaven and human who has been practicing for tens of thousands of years, unless..."

Having said this, Ksitigarbha glanced at Zhuang Zhou: "Unless Maitreya has half-stepped into the saint realm like Zhuang Sage back then, if Maitreya has this realm, Zhuang Sage should be able to tell."

Zhuang Zhou replied in time: "Maitreya is far from the realm of a saint."

This means that Maitreya does not have the semi-holy realm.

Ksitigarbha breathed a sigh of relief and said, "That's it, so it's impossible for Maitreya to assassinate Guanyin."

"But……"

Ksitigarbha hesitated for a while and couldn't help but ask: "According to what the poor monk knows, the Buddha was tricked and knocked down to the realm of a saint. Shouldn't he hide in the dark to heal his wounds? How could he have the intention to take revenge on us?"

"

Lin Ze said meaningfully: "You have to ask yourself."

Ksitigarbha was shocked when he heard this and pretended to be thinking hard. He seemed to be thinking, why would the Buddha take the risk to retaliate against them?

Lin Ze just looked at Ksitigarbha quietly and did not expose it.

After a while, Ksitigarbha said as if nothing had happened: "I really can't figure it out. I wonder if King Qin and Sheng Zhuang have any speculations?"

Lin Ze said calmly: "If you can't figure it out, don't think about it. Will Ksitigarbha be willing to follow me to Chang'an for refuge, and wait until it is confirmed that there is no danger?"

Ksitigarbha thought for a moment and said, "Thank you, King Qin, for taking me in."

Lin Ze said in surprise: "Won't Ksitigarbha give it more thought?"

Ksitigarbha said with sincerity: "If Maitreya's guess is true, the poor monk is in a very dangerous situation at this time. It is a blessing to be protected by the Taoist palace. What is there to consider?"

Lin Ze praised: "Ksitigarbha is a sensible man. Let's leave without further delay. I am busy with my affairs and cannot stay outside for too long."

Ksitigarbha put his hands together and said: "Amitabha, please give King Qin some time to give the poor monk some time to account for his disciples. He will be fine soon."

Lin Ze nodded and said: "Go."

After Ksitigarbha left, Lin Ze gave Zhuang Zhou a look, probably saying, look, we got the bait.

Zhuang Zhou looked back, "So what if I have bait? I don't know if I can catch fish."

As he said, Ksitigarbha was indeed very fast. It only took ten breaths to finish the matter and came back to Linze Zhuangzhou: "The poor monk is ready."

Zhuang Zhou nodded slightly, swayed his sleeves, covered Lin Ze's ground, and then closed them again. The three of them appeared outside Chang'an City.

Every time he encountered this kind of situation, Lin Ze couldn't help but admire him. Xiaoyaoyou had practiced to the depths to be able to use the magical power of teleportation so close to the end of the world. It was really aspirational.

Before Lin Ze finished sighing, a plump figure reflected on his eyelids.

Maitreya, who arrived at the gate of Chang'an City at some unknown time, smiled at Lin Ze and said, "I have thought about it again and again, but I still think it would be better to take refuge in Chang'an. I hope the King of Qin will accept it."

Lin Ze looked strange. Maitreya's brain circuit was quite strange. He had previously taken the initiative to tell him that he could take refuge in Chang'an, but he was pushed back several times.

How long has it been since then that people have taken the initiative to come to Chang'an?

The shame of Buddhists is comparable to that of Confucians.

"Have you thought it through?"

Maitreya smiled broadly and said, "I've thought about it carefully."

"Then let's go to the city." Lin Ze said calmly.

Although when fishing for the "fish" like Buddha, there is not much difference between one and two baits, but one more bait can provide more insurance, so Lin Ze seems to have no reason to turn it away.

After entering the city, Lin Ze sent people to place Maitreya Ksitigarbha in an empty mansion near Qiming Palace.

It is close to Qiming Palace, so if something unexpected happens, Zhuang Zhou can take action easily.

In the Qiming Palace, Zhuang Zhou looked at Lin Ze, who was calmly sitting on the dragon chair and sorting out the memorial, and couldn't help but ask: "Junior brother, are you going to just leave it alone?"

Lin Ze didn't even raise his head and said: "The Buddha is hiding, and my senior brother is unable to pinpoint his location. What else can we do except wait and see?"

Zhuang Zhou frowned slightly and said, "But is this really effective, junior brother? What if the Buddha never shows up?"

Lin Ze raised his head, showed a delicate face and said, "If the Buddha never shows up, wouldn't it be a great good thing?"

"At least this can be used to conclude that the Buddha has not returned to normal. If the Buddha does not return to the saint realm for one day, the Taoist palace will have one more day to layout."

"When the Buddha appears, the Taoist palace might be able to defeat him with great force. Wouldn't it be nice for the teacher to gain the opportunity to transcend?"

Zhuang Zhou frowned slightly and said, "That being said, I always feel that letting it go is not a good thing."

Lin Ze smiled and said: "Brother, you can rest assured. Maitreya Ksitigarbha is very important to the Buddha. As long as senior brother catches the two of them, he will be invincible."
