Chapter 61 Almost Luck

"What day of the week is it today, J?" Xing Ze suddenly asked.

"Um, it's Saturday. Why are you asking?"

"There are too few people." Xing Ze murmured to himself, "There shouldn't be so few."

"What are you talking about, kid?" John looked at his nervous companion in confusion.

"Stop those cars." Xing Ze waved his wand to cancel the Eagle Eye spell, and then disappeared from the spot.

"Fuck." John cursed, and just as he was about to follow, there was a sudden sound of wind behind him.

Xing Ze appeared directly in front of the convoy. The tires made a sharp and harsh sound as they rubbed against the ground. The leading truck stopped a few steps away from him.

The driver jumped out of the car cursing and was about to get angry, but was pushed aside by Xing Ze.

"Get out of here!" Xing Ze said coldly, striding toward the rear compartment.

The moment the carriage door opened, the entire truck suddenly exploded, and the shock wave and heat wave blasted him out.

If he hadn't bought a stand-in doll in an antique store before, he would be on his way to hell right now.

The other party probably didn't think that a car could kill him, so the second truck rushed towards Xing Ze desperately.

Fell into a trap. Xing Ze shouted. He leaned down and quickly took out a piece of black iron from the ring and held it in his hand. The next moment, the blue beak turned into a circular shield and wrapped around him.

The second truck arrived as scheduled. Before the explosion, Blue Beak had just completed its transformation. Xing Ze was lucky enough to see the driver. His enthusiastic face was filled with joy and he showed no fear of death.

The most difficult thing to deal with is the fanatic believers, Xing Ze sighed in his heart. Although the black iron has excellent hardness, the impact of the explosion still lifted Lan Beak and Xing Ze into the air.

At the critical moment of life and death, Xing Ze did not panic. On the contrary, he was calm and his brain was working rapidly. The blue beak completed the transformation in the air according to his instructions. One end of it turned into a hook and anchor and smashed into the road, and the other end smashed it into the road.

Xing Ze stopped.

This gave him a short period of time to stay in the air, and he completed the magic as quickly as he could. Andros missiles were fired at the three trucks behind. The first two missiles hit the No. 3 and No. 4 trucks each, and there was an explosion.

came one after another.

But the last missile was blocked, and a rickety figure appeared on the roof of the truck. He waved his wand, and Xing Ze noticed that the surrounding flames began to quickly gather towards him.

His intuition told him that something more terrifying than the previous explosion was coming, so Xing Ze cast all the defensive spells he knew on himself.

Before landing, the three defensive spells had been completed. Then the flames roared in, and the remains of the several trucks in front were turned into molten iron by the high temperature. The asphalt on the road quickly dissolved, and then flew into the flames.

The outermost layer of armor broke instantly, and the impregnable second layer didn't last long.

Xing Ze continuously instilled magic power into the last layer of protection, hoping that it could block this deadly flame.

Heat waves came one after another, and the impact slowly pushed him back. Blue Beak instinctively turned into ground thorns and drove them into the ground, then the second ground thorn, then the third, until the fifth ground thorn.

, Xing Ze's body was fixed.

Fortunately, the flames began to weaken gradually. Finally, the aftermath of the heat wave was stopped by Blue Beak, and only the front of Xing Ze's hair was burned off.

Xing Ze opened his hand, and the second piece of black iron withered like a broken flower. The wizard in the truck disappeared, but the car was still driving towards him.

Suddenly, the road arched, and the speeding truck was bounced into the air, and then suddenly fell down, like a funny clown on the stage, but the curtain call was too violent.

Xing Ze raised his hands to shield his eyes so that the debris caused by the explosion would not hurt his eyes.

"You came just in time." He complained to John, "If it had been any later, you might have had to gather the ashes for me."

"Next time, just say thank you." John quickly performed a restoration to minimize the impact of the explosion. As for the Muggle police and firefighters who came after hearing the news, they could only rely on the Ministry of Magic to deal with it.

"What delayed you?" Xing Ze touched his burnt hair. He felt that he must look very embarrassed now.

"A werewolf wizard. He's very powerful. He's in a semi-animal state and can't identify his appearance."

"Run away?"

John sighed and said: "I said he is very powerful, and I am the one who was attacked by surprise."

"This is a trap." Xing Ze frowned.

"Thank you for the reminder. I would be very grateful if you could find it earlier next time."

"But not for us."

"Huh?" John stopped casting spells, "Not for us?"

"What a coincidence." Xing Ze said calmly, "This was obviously a well-planned ambush. We just happened to run into it. We were a bit unlucky."

"What?" John looked helpless. This lunatic was simply unreasonable. "You were almost killed by a Muggle car, and I was almost disemboweled by a werewolf wizard. You call this bad luck..."

Before he finished speaking, John pointed his wand to the woods on the other side, and Xing Ze did the same.

A black-haired white woman slowly walked out of the woods. A trace of surprise flashed across Xing Ze's face, but he held the wand in his hand tighter.

"You two, I advise you to put down your wand." The woman said with a smile.

"Miss, it's two against one now." A joking smile appeared on John's face.

At this moment, three men appeared out of thin air and semi-surrounded Xing Ze and John.

At this time, the woman said again: "Now it's four against two."

The corners of John's lips curled up slightly, and he said confidently and provocatively: "I do like this winning rate."

But Xing Ze had no intention of resisting. His magic power was now exhausted and his whole body was sore. What's more, judging from the clothes of the three men, there was a high probability that they were Aurors.

"I surrender, we are not enemies." He raised his hands and said.

"Hey, boy, you will make me lose face." John cast a complaining look at Xing Ze.

"Shut up, idiot, look what you have done!" shouted the taller of the three men, "Joseph, Fitch, notify the Department of Magical Accidents and Disasters. As for you two, follow me."

Xing Ze and John were taken to the basement of a fast food restaurant near Nottingham. In addition to their old acquaintance Kingsley, there was also Rufus Scrimgeour, the director of the Auror Office.

Scrimgeour sat in the middle of the basement, his lips pursed and his eyes fixed on the crystal ball on the table in front of him.

"It won't be long, John." He said, his voice low and powerful, like a lion's roar.

"Scrimgeour, ah, we haven't seen each other for almost seven or eight years." John casually leaned against a cabinet, "You look a lot older."

Scrimgeour's eyes moved from the crystal ball to John, "You are getting younger and younger as you live. It seems that your life in Knockturn Alley is very comfortable."

John grinned and stretched his hands to his arms, but Delis and Kingsley immediately pointed their wands at him.

"For Merlin's sake." John slowly took out the wine bottle, "You are too sensitive. You have confiscated my wand, what else can you do?"

"It's better to be careful. Who doesn't know the name of John of the Thousand Rods?" Kingsley said warily.

John of Thousand Staffs? Xing Ze glanced at John. The latter took a sip of wine, shrugged and said, "That's all in the past, Shacklebolt."
