419. Academic Reflections on Perlman's La San Qin Jian

Early the next morning.

Qin Jian woke up, took a shower, changed into clean clothes and left the room.

Passing by next door, I called Natsuki and explained to her the purpose of my visit. After that, the two of them went downstairs to the restaurant of the manor.

During the meal, he sent He Jing a message explaining his itinerary. In fact, he didn't know the next itinerary. He just said that he would go out with Shen Qingci.

After a light breakfast, the three of them set off.

The snow is still falling outside the manor.

...

An hour later, the three of them got off the subway and walked along the white streets for about ten minutes.

"This is?"

Looking at the heavy foreign-style houses in the fence in front of him, Qin Jian secretly guessed where they were, but he was not well-educated and could not read the handwriting on the door plaque.

"It's the Negoz Music Academy!"

Xia Shu walked to Qin Jian's side in one step, and also raised his head to look at the scene in front of him. The girl's eyes were full of vitality.

"ha?"

Without giving Qin Jian time to be surprised, Shen Qingci walked into the door first.

"Let's go."

The campus was quiet.

Occasionally, people who looked like students carrying instruments or holding music folders passed by the three of them in twos and threes.

"Teacher Shen, where are we going?"

The campus is not big. After passing a teaching building, he saw that at the end of the path was a small garden, and behind the garden was a fence. Qin Jian couldn't help but ask.

Shen Qingci stopped and turned to the left.

Qin Jian and Xia Shu looked together and discovered that there was a small glass door hidden behind some cedars on the left side of the small garden.

"It is indeed here!"

Xia Shu's excitement made Qin Jian feel that he was the one who was brought along.

Following the two of them in confusion, Qin Jian walked into the glass door.

As soon as he entered the door, the hot air that hit his face made the tip of his nose feel much better.

However, the truth has not yet been revealed. A wooden staircase leading to the underground is a bit long from top to bottom, giving people a slightly depressing feeling.

The moment he walked down the stairs and looked at the rows of bookshelves in front of him, Qin Jian understood.

“Garden Library!”

Xia Shu seemed to like the feeling here very much. After looking around, he started walking around on his own.

Although the Garden Library is not listed as a tourist attraction in the Moscow travel guidebook, this does not mean that this place is not famous. On the contrary, it receives many tourists every year.

It's just that Qin Jian is lonely and ignorant.

Probably it is not the peak tourist season, nor is it a weekend holiday, so there are not many people in the library at this time, and the few foreigners who do not look like tourists.

"This is the library of the Negroz Conservatory of Music and a bookstore."

After Shen Qingci gave the explanation, Qin Jian suddenly became interested. The bookstore meant that he could buy some books that he was interested in.

It would be better if you could include a few more editions of music scores that you have never seen before, such as Rachmaninov's collection of works or Rodin's operas.

When he was about to leave, Shen Qingci stopped him: "Don't worry, come with me first."

As she spoke, Shen Qingci led Qin Jian to the corner, and another descending staircase appeared in front of them.

"Is there anything else down there?" Qin Jian asked nonsense.

Following Shen Qingci, he went down to another level. The second underground floor seemed much smaller than the first floor, with only four or five rows of bookshelves and a few tables.

At this moment, a brown-haired aunt with a work badge came towards the two of them. Shen Qingci showed her a card, then spoke a few words in Russian, and the aunt left with a smile.

Qin Jian was surprised by what he saw, and Shen Qingci explained: "Only college professors can borrow the books here."

"What?" Qin Jian's expression seemed to have discovered something terrible, but he frowned again as soon as he thought about it.

He remembered that the other party mentioned an experience in Russia yesterday, but that experience should have been at the Glinka Conservatory of Music, right?

Shen Qingci saw Qin Jian's doubts, and then handed the card in his hand to Qin Jian.

Qin Jian took it and took a look. It was full of characters like "Alpha Beta Gama" that appeared in high school mathematics. He couldn't understand it at all.

But finally his eyes fell on the row of English characters above the horizontal line——

"Dan...iel...Por...por...te"

After reading it intermittently, his forehead buzzed, and a bright face appeared in his mind.

This time he felt that he had really discovered something extraordinary.

"Porte!!"

"Uncle Potter!?" Qin Jian said in disbelief.

Shen Qingci smiled, "Is it unexpected?"

Unexpected, not surprising either.

Qin Jian soon calmed down and thought about the identity of the old bartender.

For a moment, Qin Jian missed the old man again.

"Is Uncle Potter still in Germany?"

Shen Qingci nodded to answer Qin Jian's question, "Come with me."

The two came to the bookshelf.

...

...

"This is "A Brief History of Christian Music" by Claude Paliska, Russian State Music Publishing House, 1946"

"This book was published by the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire Press in 1921, "The Critical Tradition of Romantic Theory" by E. Gerhard."

"Karaletskaya's "Introduction to Twentieth Century Music"..."

...

Various precious documents and records opened Qin Jian's eyes.

Sudden.

His eyes fell on a book catalogue, and what attracted him was the title and the author.

"Author Shen Qingci."

"On Chopin and Modern French Piano Techniques"

Qin Jian hurriedly took it out and turned to the title page, where the publication information was clearly written.

‘First edition 2009.’

‘Yanjing Jinghua Publishing House.’

Although Mei has not browsed the content inside, the fact that it is included in this kind of place is enough to show its weight.

But Shen Qingci just smiled and said, "This is my graduation thesis."

The graduation thesis of more than 200 pages has also been published...

Qin Jian can only say awesome.

Although the four rows of bookshelves are not long, they are basically all foreign books and records. It took Shen Qingci nearly half an hour to translate and introduce them.

Finally, Shen Qingci pulled out a book with a white cover and A4 pages from a row of books.

"Everything you need to know is in here."

With that said, he handed the book to Qin Jian with a smile on his face.

Qin Jian's heart moved and he quickly took it.

It's a German book.

With a long period of German learning, he reluctantly guessed the title of the book.

'"The Historical Development of Russian Piano Art"'

When he saw the author's name again, he was a little confused.

"Heinrich Gustavovieuhaus."

Qin Jian had seen many names similar to this format in Germany and Vienna.

So he recognized it at a glance as an out-and-out German name.

It would not be surprising if a German wrote a history of the development of Russian piano art.

After translating the author's name into Chinese.

Heinrich Gustavevich Negoz...

"Nietzsche is a German?!"

Qin Jian asked repeatedly.

"A true German."

Shen Qing's words were neither slow nor fast.

"..."

This is really not what Qin Jian is making a fuss about.

A German pianist and educator is actually the founder of the mainstay of the four major Russian piano schools?

He felt that half of the cognitive system he had just constructed collapsed in an instant.

...

"Why?"
