Chapter 47 The increasingly complex conspiracy

The four of them were still sitting on the four chairs. While Professor Garcia raised her hand, Miss Jones began to record the next thing at a faster speed.

There was a halo of light in the hands of the professor with somewhat pointed ears. While the former was whispering a mantra, Shade saw colorful blocks of color filling his living room with the gas light on.

The entire living room is divided into two. The normal part is the east side where four people sit, while the west side is gradually blurred by the color blocks, but gradually becomes clear.

Only the half of the living room that became clear turned into a dark, low room.

The low room was also divided into two and joined with Shade's living room. The lighting in the room was extremely dim. There was a low bed covered with dirty yellow sheets, a desk with a metal typewriter with rusty gears, and various items.

Bookshelf for other reagents.

Those reagents were soaked in large and small human eyeballs, and there was even a small primate corpse with its eyes closed and curled up, which made Shade very uncomfortable.

The room was extremely dark, and the old gas lamp above the desk seemed to be extinguished in the next second.

The middle-aged man, who was thin, bald, and wearing a brown coat, huddled on the chair in front of the desk like a mouse. He turned his head in shock and looked at the strange living room and the four people who suddenly appeared.

His face was pitted, and his big red nose was covered with blackheads. His pupils were narrowed in fear, and the bottle he held in his left hand was pouring mercury onto the table.

"What I am using is thaumaturgy - space division and space joining. It takes at least eleven rings to learn."

Professor Garcia from the School of History said.

"Please tell the truth."

Professor Sanchez, who had a serious expression, stretched out his hand and pointed at the man in the low half of the house. There was an ambiguous pink light on his finger:

"Who are you?"

the professor asked loudly.

"Peter the little mouse of [Mercury Blood]."

The short man's eyes were blank under the light of the professor's fingers. His accent was very similar to Professor Garcia's, and he was probably a former Kasonlik man. The mercury bottle in his hand fell to the table without him noticing.

"What are you doing?"

The professor asked again, and the ambiguous pink light between his fingers became stronger.

"We lost an important item - the statue of the old god 'Vampire Duke Lao'el'. We wanted to use the secret keeper-level relic to retaliate against the person who took the statue, but the other party was too strong. So, I was asked to pass the strange

Technique - [Mouse Companion's Smell] Find clues.

The alley smelled very bad, and there was a battle last night. I spent a whole day searching, and then I found out that one of the people who had been to the alley was using a ritual, and his own power was very weak. I am now using thaumaturgy - [

Mercury poisonous mist], trying to kill him directly."

Professor Sanchez nodded. Shade looked at the pink light on his fingers and felt a little dizzy. Professor Garcia explained:

"This is a spell to charm humans. The effect is not as good as this. Only Professor Sanchez's spiritual rune system and regular practice can exert such characteristics... I want to make the disobedient young students in the academy...

It’s really not easy to tell the truth about homework.”

"Who else knows about Mr. Hamilton?"

Professor Sanchez pointed his normal finger at Shade, and "Short Mouse" Peter replied slowly with his eyes blank, his voice getting softer, as if he was talking to his lover:

"It's just me. I haven't had time to report it yet, so I want to take all the credit. I've never made a mistake with this move, and even those with silver eyes have praised my thaumaturgy."

"Have you ever killed anyone?"

the professor asked.

"Yes, many have been killed, and many thaumaturgic techniques require fresh human organs as..."

"Oh well."

The pink light on Professor Sanchez's finger went out, and then a black light flew out from the fingertip and crossed the dividing line between the two houses. The body of the short mouse Peter fell to the ground with a sound, and he fell into a permanent sleep.

Xia De opened his mouth slightly, having a new understanding of the professor's vigorous and resolute actions. It took him a few seconds before he remembered to say:

"Professor Sanchez, Professor Garcia, thank you for your help."

This could be regarded as completely solving the trouble caused by the statue of the old god for him.

As for the dead man, Shade didn't feel sorry for him. He was a bad person and wanted to harm him. He was even glad that he didn't have to get his hands dirty.

"No need to thank you. If it weren't for the fact that I wanted to see you today, he wouldn't have discovered your identity."

Professor Sanchez said, and then motioned for Shade to stand up:

"Go and see if there are any important documents on his desk, and don't touch anything. Our party cannot leave our seats during the ceremony, otherwise the projection will be interrupted unilaterally."

Shade nodded and stood up. He heard little Mia scratching the door louder. The curious but timid cat probably wanted to know what was going on outside.

He left his seat and walked towards the other part of the living room that was divided into two. When his body crossed the center line and entered the low house, a stench and rotten smell that had not been ventilated for a long time immediately hit his face.

He crossed from the second floor of No. 6 Saint Teresa Square to a narrow and cold rental apartment somewhere in Tobesk City. He did not check the row of reagent bottles on the bookshelf, but went straight to the desk.

In addition to a puddle of mercury on the table, there are also two magic spells of finding clues and pouring mercury, and the casting materials required for use. The only document is the unfinished copy on the typewriter. It is a letter, using

In Kasenlik language, the ending has not been written yet.

Most of them are Peter the Dwarf Mouse complaining about the troubles and dangers encountered at work and the foggy weather in the city of Tobesk.

The last paragraph only contains the beginning, mentioning their cooperation with the cultists of the evil god [Lord of Blood Feast]. [Mercury Blood] attempted to obtain some materials from the cultists. Another organization [Blood Spirit School] promised to help

They seemed to be busy with some maternity ward matters in the New World, so so far, they had only sent one Secretkeeper-level relic as help, which made the Silver-Eyed Man furious.

The cultists of [Lord of the Blood Feast], [Mercury Blood], and [Blood Spirit School] are now involved in three organizations.

Shade wrote down this part, returned to his living room and sat down to report it exactly as it was. The two professors did not comment on this. Professor Garcia canceled the spatial abnormality and returned Shade's living room to normal.

Even the mercury mist has disappeared, as if it was just an illusion. In this way, cautious outsiders don't have to worry about dying of mercury poisoning.

"In short, Mr. Hamilton, as a first-level warlock, you should try your best to participate in such dangerous things as little as possible. Where did we just talk?"

For the two professors, what just happened was nothing worth mentioning. Xia De was also happy that there was no hidden danger. After writing down the [Lord of the Blood Feast], [Blood Spirit School] and what he had just witnessed, Xia De stood in his chair.

He sat up straight and said:

"We mentioned two things just now. Professor Garcia said that he is here to guide me in my time travel practice tonight and will wait until everything is discussed before proceeding. The second thing is what you want to say about our five-person group."

Professor Garcia nodded to Shade, while Professor Sanchez patted his head:

"Oh, yes, regarding the five-person group, someone in your five-person group has a major problem. One of you, the 'other me', is different from the ordinary situation, and the college considers that to be a major hidden danger."

Xia De, who was still happy just now, suddenly felt a sudden change in his heart, and his face changed drastically.
