Extra: Rookie Tang Jis second partner (1)

"Same old, donuts and Coke?" Tang Ji parked the patrol car in front of a roadside stall and glanced at his partner's belly. If he hadn't seen it with his own eyes, he would never have believed that a person of this size could get in and out of this place freely.

A poor car.

"I saw the look in your eyes, Don, you hurt my heart!" Jason Parker, the second-level law enforcement officer, exaggeratedly covered his chest, and then smiled: "That's right, the same old way, tell old Mike not to use substitute

Sugar coaxes me, I have medical insurance and enough insulin tubes!"

Tang Ji shook his head, took a few banknotes from his partner and got out of the car. While waiting for the food, he lit his first cigarette of the day and fell into deep thought.

His new partner is a good guy, but he just doesn't have Tang Ji's way.

Jason always smiles to everyone. He has never been red-faced with anyone in the bureau. He has never been complained about. He wears a pink spotted T-shirt under his law enforcement uniform. His fat face and smile always make people think of him.

Panda Po.

Today is the third day that Tanguy was transferred to the Heywood District, and it is also the day that he has been on the job for three months. He caused a little trouble in the Santo Domingo District before, and Director Edward brought him here to avoid the limelight.

In Night City, if you want to get ahead, you have to be ruthless enough. Jason Tangji glanced at him, and the other party responded with a naive smile. He is just a donut, a bastard on the street.

I must love him to death.

Tang Ji only looked at the change he gave him and knew that the other party could only get a basic salary every month, and he could become a second-level law enforcement officer only through qualifications.

But Angelina obviously had a good impression of Jason, so before going out, she specifically told Tang Ji not to bully the big baby.

A fancy convertible sports car roared past the patrol car. Two girls with no tattoos waved generously at Officer Donut, and Jason whistled in response.

Every vendor in this neighborhood knew Jason, and even many street gangsters were willing to say hello from afar when Jason passed by. This simply cost Tang Ji his life.

After smoking a cigarette, Tang Ji withdrew his thoughts and looked at the unfamiliar streets and the stupid patrol car. Unknown fire surged up and he kicked the tires hard, making the whole car shake.

one time.

Jason poked his head out to take a look with a puzzled look on his face. Tang Ji flicked the cigarette butt away, threw a handful of change on the vendor's counter, picked up the food and got into the car.

"In a bad mood?" Jason opened the box of donuts like a child and ate the sweets containing a lot of calories with satisfaction: "I heard you got into some trouble in Santo Domingo?"

"Uh-huh." Tang Ji lowered his head and destroyed his lunch. In the past few days of contact, he had no temper at all towards people like Jason. He was like a roly-poly who never got angry and always dealt with it with a smile.

All questions.

"Tell me about you? I heard that Director Edward's men are all tough guys. When I saw you, I knew they were right." Jason drank half a cup of Coke in one gulp and burped: "Want some?

"

Tangji continued to play with his Lexington pistol, pretending that he didn't want to talk anymore, but he knew that this move would not work in front of Jason.

"Actually, I envy you a lot. You look like the kind of law enforcer that people can trust. Those people who live on the streets soften half the time when they see you. Unlike me, they nickname me behind my back and call me donut.

"Jason started the patrol car and drove slowly through the street, paying no attention to the newcomer's attitude.

"That's the Maxon's grocery store, and that's the bar owned by Zane. Despite the popular name, he actually doesn't even dare to sell strong alcohol. The tattooed afro on the roadside is called Andrew. He sometimes

I will resell some marijuana to save money for college." Jason introduced the details while passing by shops and pedestrians.

"What on earth do you want to say Jason?" Tang Ji tilted his head and looked at his fat partner, waiting for the other person's next words.

"I asked about you, Tang. I can't just sit in a car with someone I don't know." Jason Parker put away his smile and looked at Tang Ji seriously: "I want to say

The thing is, this is Heywood, please be gentle with it before you understand what's going on here."

"OK, you have the final say." Tang Ji adjusted the seat space to the maximum, lay back and smiled nonchalantly: "But you know, not everyone who sells marijuana does it to go to college.

Man, you have to pull his tongue out of his mouth and drive nails into his balls."

"If you have someone like that, I will hand you the hammer, rookie." Jason smiled gently, and once again raised a donut and handed it to Tang Ji: "Want some? This is the best from old Mike's house!

"

"Thank you, I need to maintain my body fat percentage." Tang Ji sighed and refused his partner's temptation.

Days passed like this, and under Jason's guidance, Tang Ji learned a lot of things that he had not noticed before.

And Tang Ji also helped Jason establish a little prestige on the street. At least now those street warriors don't dare to sell goods in front of Donut.

.

Angelina is very satisfied with her current life and has invited Jason and his family to dinner at home twice in a month.

Even Tang Ji must say that compared with what he has experienced, life now seems nostalgic.

"Honey, this is your lunch today. I know Jason likes to eat junk food. Don't let him lead you bad. I like you with eight-pack abs." Angelina sat on Tang Ji's lap.

Go up and kiss him: "Also, smile more and don't be so serious."

Tang Ji deliberately forced out a weird smile, which made Angelina laugh. The two of them quarreled for a while before he walked out of the apartment and waited for Jason to pick him up.

Although Jason had the title of Level 2 law enforcer, their daily job was either patrolling the streets or issuing tickets. For a whole month, Tang Ji's pistol had not fired.

Obviously everyone in the bureau knows who Jason is, and no one wants Jason to show up when applying for a job.

In the alley across the street, several street fighters from the Valentino Gang pointed at Tang Ji, laughing from time to time.

Tang Ji frowned and subconsciously wanted to cross the street to have a good time with the other party, but Jason's patrol car had already appeared at the corner.

When he opened the car window, he saw the smiling fat face. Jason held a caramel pancake and apologized: "I brought you Lucy's pancakes. There were too many people in line, so it took a while, but I

I guarantee it’s worth it, if you don’t believe me, try it!”

Tang Ji threw the crushed cigarette case into the trash can and got into the car without saying a word. Jason is a good person, but he can never adapt to this style.

He planned to have a showdown with Jason today, either he would apply to change his partner, or Jason would apply and change him.

PS: I used to write some jokes when I was doing character biographies. Recently someone recommended the show Chicago PD. It felt like it fit the style of the Edwardian law enforcement agency, so I sorted it out and made a side story. I’ll write a little bit when I have time, and I’ll follow up as the occasion arises.
