100: Tiger cub

There are towering oak trees and low shrubs. This place is about half an hour away from the entrance of the Forbidden Forest. No one comes here on weekdays. Joel is squatting next to a few short plants, using a crystal bottle to collect the leaves drop by drop.

dew,

Watching the crystal bottle being filled little by little, the corners of Joel's mouth raised slightly.

A red spark suddenly shot out from the woods in the distance and exploded in mid-air. The reflection made Joel's cheeks turn red, followed by several screams that could not be heard clearly from a distance, but they could still be heard.

There was a bit of panic among them.

Hearing these screams, Joel felt happy.

The crystal bottle was full, and Joel buckled the bottle with satisfaction, and then carefully placed it on the innermost layer of his robe.

After yawning, Joel prepared to go back to the dormitory to rest.

When I stood up, my back suddenly tightened, and the long-lost feeling of being followed reappeared.

Joel lowered his head, the Disillusionment Curse still protected him, and it was impossible to see his body clearly with the naked eye alone.

He felt at ease. He had stayed in the cave for so long without being discovered last time. Joel was very confident in his Disguise Spell.

If nothing else, it was another beast searching for prey this time, and it just happened that his eyes passed through Joel's body.

Joel stayed still, planning to wait for the beast to leave before moving forward.

There was a rustling sound coming from the bushes behind him, which was caused by the beast's paws pressing on the weeds.

Joel smelled a fishy smell, as if he had smelled it somewhere before.

Then a soft pad of flesh rested on Joel's leather shoe.

Joel:???

A small tiger with heterochromatic eyes appeared in his field of vision, the same one that Joel had seen before.

It is now several times bigger than a few months ago, nearly one meter long, and its teeth are much sharper. The stripes on its forehead are becoming more obvious. I wonder if it is Joel's imagination. He feels that the cub's heterochromatic pupils are

Brighter than before.

The young tiger raised his head and growled in Joel's face.

This roar frightened Joel so much that his heartbeat slowed down by half a beat.

Can it see itself? Joel stared at the cub's eyes that were still bright in the dark night.

He became increasingly panicked. What about the adult tiger? If it followed the cub, wouldn't it also find him?

Joel's heartbeat continued to accelerate, and he instinctively wanted to escape.

But before he even took a step, Joel found that he couldn't pull his foot out at all, and the cub's fleshy pads wouldn't move at all when he stepped on it.

Joel, who was cornered, took out his wand and said, "Collapse!"

This is already the strongest spell he can use on tigers. Although the spell Expelliarmus can also be used on animals, the effect is not very good. As for the thunderbolt explosion, this spell is powerful enough, but it is so close.

Using the explosive spell rashly could cause Joel to be seriously injured.

Magic power surges from the body to the wand, and red light shoots out from the tip of the wand.

The curse flew extremely fast, and the cub was unable to avoid it at such a close distance. It was hit on the forehead by the stun curse, and the huge impact forced the cub back away.

Joel's feet were free again, and he ran out of the Forbidden Forest without even looking at the cub.

He walked through the low bushes in the evening wind. The sharp thorns of some plants hurt Joel through his trousers, but he did not dare to stop. The sound of wind and heavy breathing were mixed together, and his throat was burning and uncomfortable.

To die.

Suddenly there was a sound of breaking through the air behind him. Joel sensed the approaching danger and quickly tried to avoid it.

An unusually huge force came from Joel's shoulder, knocking him staggering. Then he tripped over a branch under his feet and fell to the ground.

A burst of pain hit my left ankle, and I sprained myself when I fell to the ground.

The tiger cub with heterochromatic eyes jumped in front of him, his face full of curiosity.

Joel clenched the wand in his hand and pointed it at the cub. After receiving a stun spell, the cub's forehead only had a cut of a few inches, and silver-blue blood flowed out.

The damage caused by the curse to the cub was very limited. Joel had no other weapons in his hands, and the Hammer of Penance was still lying in the suitcase. What surprised him most was why he couldn't be seen in the cave last time.

The little tiger cub can now find him accurately

The young tiger approached step by step, and the bright moonlight shone on its face through the branches. Facing the moonlight, Joel was surprised to find that the not-deep wound was actually healing. After a few breaths, the skin on his forehead recovered.

The original appearance left silver-blue blood flowing along the hair to the mouth, and the posture looked particularly ferocious and terrifying.

"There are many obstacles!" Joel had no other way. The only thing he could rely on was the magic wand in his hand.

The young tiger didn't even try to hide, and allowed the obstacle spell to hit its body, and took a step back slightly due to the force of the impact.

That's all. The cub tilted its head, with a human expression of doubt on its face.

Joel felt a chill in his heart. This place was too remote. Hagrid and others were probably in a panic right now. Even if Joel sent out a distress signal, they would not be able to get here in time.

Joel leaned on the tree trunk and took a deep breath, closing his eyes. No matter what, he never imagined that this young tiger could see through the Illusion Curse and even be immune to the curse.

He was going to be killed by a tiger today, and not even a whole body could be saved... Joel had never expected this outcome. He thought that by mastering the system and the plot of the original work, he could seek advantages and avoid disadvantages, and sit back and relax.

Unexpectedly, he fell on a young tiger.

Joel relaxed and accepted his ending.

Suddenly something soft and furry pressed against his abdomen, and Joel could imagine that he would be disemboweled in the next second.

The furry thing was rubbed back and forth on the abdomen. It was not sharp, but rather itchy.

Joel couldn't help but open his eyes. The tiger cub was lying on his belly, with his white belly exposed and his expression relaxed and comfortable.

What's going on?

When the cub saw Joel open his eyes, he patted his belly with his own flesh pad, looking like he was here to play.

Joel's eyes twitched twice, and he now wondered if there was something wrong with the young tiger's brain.

After not seeing any action for a long time, the cub was a little angry. It patted Joel's shoulder with its padded claws and applied a little force. Joel almost felt that his arm had been removed by it.

But looking at its expression, it didn't look cruel at all. Joel remembered the slap on his shoulder when he just escaped. Compared with the size of this young tiger, its strength can be said to be quite outstanding.

The young tiger roared like a racing motor, and kept twisting and turning.

Joel doubtfully placed his palm on the cub's belly and rubbed it twice.

It made a purring sound and squinted its eyes in great enjoyment.
