Focus on answering some readers questions

PreviousBack to directoryNext
Regarding some questions from readers, here are the answers.

The first question is about the identity of the protagonist. He is Su Mingzhe. From the second volume onwards, it has been him and it will not be changed in the future.

The protagonist of the first volume is chef He Yuzhu. It was entirely because the TV series "Love in the Courtyard" was popular and suitable for the start, so I chose to make the first map.

Well, let’s admit it, it brings psychological reading trouble to some readers.

The second point is that stories like "Everything Is Fine" and "Yanjing Love Story" only tell a previous relationship, and the map is changed before the official plot begins, which is indeed a bit random.

However, in the eyes of the author, if he has finished telling all the stories that need to be told and still refuses to leave, isn’t that just a low word count?

Originally, in the outline, after the volume "Mr. Good", "Everything is Good" and "Yenjing Love Story" would be added to fill in the gaps.

The reason why it's a little messy is mainly because when I wrote the outline, I didn't properly arrange the connections between the maps.

Here I will think of a way to revise the outline. Starting from "Mr. Good", this kind of problem will no longer happen.

The third point is about why there is a sacred contract and a star-eater is signed. It feels very cliché.

Mainly the latter maps, and I also want to play movies and TV series such as "Magic Phone", "Soul Ferry", and "Zombie Date".

In such an urban fantasy world, there is no protection from otherworldly beasts. As an ordinary earthling, the protagonist will fall to his knees when encountering a kid.

The fourth point is about some information that is different from that in movies and TV shows.

It is mainly written about several integrated film and television worlds, so the plot can only be modified appropriately.

Moreover, many film and television dramas themselves are very confusing and inconsistent with the contents of the novels of the same name.

The fifth point is that the issue of character design has some changes from that of film and television dramas.

This cannot be blamed on the author.

Mainly, film and television dramas use dozens of simple plots to describe the stories of dozens of people over several years or even decades. Because of the needs of the plot, most plot characters need to be very extreme.

This is very inconsistent with normal logic.

As an author of novels with the same text, at this time, I can only draw lessons from the character settings in film and television dramas, but I cannot completely draw from the stories in them.

Otherwise, if you write it down without mentioning the issue of being too violent, it will be considered plagiarism.

The sixth point is that regarding the character of the protagonist, there is a bit of a licking tendency.

Let me tell you here, that is not called licking, it is just polite.

There may be a misunderstanding interval here.

What the author considers to be polite seems to be a bit too polite in the readers' eyes, or in other words, too condescending.

The author can only say that this is the education he received since childhood.

It is said that the content of writing novels comes from life and is higher than life.

However, no matter how high it is above life, it cannot be divorced from life.

Once again, the issue of normal politeness is not a matter of licking or not.

The seventh point is that there are not many slap-in-the-face plots in this novel.

Although writing a novel is about having fun, it can’t be fun without thinking.

The slap-in-the-face plot is really exciting.

But in the setting of this book, the violence is not heavy.

In some fiction novels, after time travel, people often get angry at their family members, break up with their friends, and insult the sky and the earth.

He and his biological father, mother, brothers, daughter-in-law, children, and neighbors act like enemies.

Relying on the prophetic ability of the time traveler, he chases people he dislikes everywhere, using all kinds of tricks and tricks.

Then, the wrong things and evil things I did were a hundred times more heinous than the evil people in the TV series.

There will never be such a violent plot in this book.

Writing like that makes me sound like an angry young man, a keyboard warrior.

It's too much.

There are still many problems with this book, but I will explain them for now.

One final word:

Some people read novels to pass the time.

Some people do it to read various exciting articles and express their inner depression.

This novel is about family history, life and work, and some of the author’s experiences.

Thank you all for your support.
